Joint COVID-19 Contact Tracing and Malaria Reactive Case Detection as Efficient Strategies for Disease Control

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) contact tracing and malaria reactive case detection (RACD) are effective strategies for control. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic global attention has received in recent past present hampered control efforts. Among these difficulties finding treating malaria-infected individuals hypoendemic settings community, due to lockdown restrictions by countries. It is common knowledge that cases cannot be identified remain untreated. To sustain gains made control, we proposed a two-pronged hybrid approach RACD communities with coinfections. Such an would equally factor burden support strategy responding current future pandemics.
